I got my dog from a friend of mine when he was about 7 weeks old. I have four kids who had been asking for a dog for awhile so we thought we would try this one. He is now 18 months old. He has mostly been inside until recently. He has gotten bigger than he was supposed to though so we prefer he not be in the house anymore. He is very active and loves to be outside, however we do not have a fence or any way to confine him. I feel he would make a great hunting dog because he is very fast and smart. We have never trained a dog not do we have time to do it. I think he needs an owner that has the extra time to work with him and has a place to put him outside. I think he would be happier in a place like that.
