Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue
Meow meet Tubs 2! Tubs 2 is a petite grey and white senior tabby who has already lived through more heartbreak than animal ever should! She came from a rescue that caught fire. In the chaos and smoke, many cats she knew - cats she slept beside, cats she shared quiet moments with - never made it out. She survived, but she didn’t come away untouched. Since then, there’s a sadness in her eyes, the kind that comes from loss and confusion, from not understanding why she was spared while others were not. She is incredibly sweet. Gentle in every way. When you pet her, she melts into your hand as if she’s afraid the comfort might disappear. She craves affection - not in a demanding way, but in a hopeful one. She just wants to feel safe again. She just wants to be loved. Right now, she is grieving. She is tired. She is waiting. She doesn’t understand how she ended up alone after everything she has been through. What Tubs wants is a forever home - a quiet place where nothing scary happens, where hands are kind, where she can finally stop being brave. Adopting Tubs means giving a survivor more than a home. It means giving her peace. It means showing her that after loss, after fire, after fear…love can still find her!

Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
