My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mocha is a 6-month-old female German Shepherd who must be spayed before adoption.  She was found running down a very busy and dangerous highway.  No owner came to reclaim her.  Mocha is a very pretty dog who has the classic black and tan coat of a German Shepherd.  She currently weighs 52 pounds and we believe she will be a large adult dog.  Mocha is very loving, sweet, and just wants to be close to you.  We believe she will do well in a home with other dogs; and would be great with children.  Mocha is frisky, playful, and enjoys life!  She is going to make a great companion dog for some lucky adopter. Mocha will bond quickly with her adopter because she is such a loving and 'velcro' dog who wants to be close to you all the time.

Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
