Sometimes the best things in life are found in the most unexpected places. Jokia was found brave and resilient on the streets, doing her absolute best to protect her tiny kittens. A kind neighbor stepped in to help, but now it’s Jokia’s turn to be the one who is taken care of.
At just 1 to 2 years young, Jokia is barely more than a kitten herself, but she’s already been a hero. Now that her kittens have moved on and she is officially spayed, she’s ready to hang up her "super-mom" cape and start her life as a pampered, beloved companion.
Total Lovebug: It’s clear someone loved her once. She hasn't let her time outside dampen her spirit—she is incredibly affectionate and lives for human attention.
The Social Butterfly: Jokia is a "people person" through and through. She’ll be the first to greet you at the door and the last to leave your side at night.
Mellow & Kind: She’s a peaceful soul. She does great with other low-key, mellow cats who match her "live and let live" vibe.
Ready for Forever: She has spent her life looking out for others; she is so ready for a home where the only thing she has to worry about is which sunny spot to nap in.
Jokia doesn't just want a house; she wants a forever. She wants to know that this time, when she settles into a lap, she never has to leave it. In return, she’ll give you all the head-bumps, purrs, and loyalty a heart can hold.
If you'd like to meet this cat or think this cat would be a good match for your family, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.trentoncats.org/adoption-questionnaire/ and let your references know someone will be contacting them soon. All our cats are neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed and flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped prior to adoption. Thanks for opting to adopt!
