Meet Tigger, a 7-month-old Puggle (that’s Pug + Beagle = pure chaos and charm). He’s back on the market after his last family realized… two puppies was like running a daycare with no coffee. ☕🐶

Tigger’s still in his “learning” era — you know, basic manners and the difference between “sit” and “zoom across the living room.” But he makes up for it with his hilarious personality, endless wiggles, and heart of gold. 💛

He loves dogs (bonus points if they’re bigger and can handle his playtime energy) but cats? Hard pass. 🐱🚫

If you’re ready for a life filled with laughter, love, and maybe a few chewed slippers, Tigger is your guy. Come meet this happy little tornado of joy! 🌪️❤️All cats and dogs adopted from the Chequamegon Humane Association are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Dogs are tested for heartworm. A minimum adoption fee of $185 is required for adult dogs, puppy adoption fees start $300, and dogs over the age of 10 are $100. Adult cat adoption fees are $85, kittens under one year are $135, and cats over the age of 10 are $50.

Our adoption coordinator will help you find the right fit, online or in person. If you don’t find the perfect match, check for new arrivals.

2.
Submit Application

Complete and submit the appropriate adoption application below. Allow up to 48 hours for your application to be processed.

3.
Approve Application

After 48 hours, call the shelter at 715-682-9744 to check the status - approved, need information, or declined. We will not contact you.

4.
Meet the Pet

For dogs only: bring all household members and any current dogs to meet your potential new companion with our Adoption Counselor.

5.
Pay Fee

Every pet is spayed/neutered, health-checked, dewormed, microchipped, and vaccinated as appropriate for their age. (Fee subject to change.)

6.
Take the Pet Home

Once all the previous steps are complete, it’s finally time to welcome your pet home and build a loving relationship with them furever.
