Wrigley is 8 years old and about 17-18 lbs. She is a sweet girl who love attention and to be a part of everything you are doing but definitely will need time to adjust to a new home situation. She is house broken and will let you know when someone is at your door and will bark for a minute or two and barks/howls when they are left home and nobody is there.
She loves car rides but will try to be on your lap or passenger seat. We don't usually crate her, but she has been before and is fine with it. She gets along with children of all ages. Wrigley does not get along well with other dogs, especially if there is a treat or rawhide she is trying to hide and save. Wrigley seems to go after the female dog primarily, but has also had issues with the male dog at times so would definitely be best as an only dog.
She sleep on the bed with you and can jump up herself. Wrigley is very vocal and will let you know how she is feeling at any time and is adorable how she “talks” and howls when excited and will go in circles and snort when you get her really going. She loves belly rubs and needs constant reassurance that she is a good girl and is wanted and will stick to you like glue anytime you sit down or lay down
She would make a great companion to someone who has the time. She is used to a high energy and full kid house half the time and a quiet and solo napping house the rest of the time and love both. There is no digging outside, or chewing on any furniture or kid toys. Wrigley has never had a litter, but has a motherly instinct and will sometimes protect a toy like it’s her baby and will growl if any other dog comes near it and try to intimidate them.
Wrigley was spayed in the rescue and is current on vaccines. If you are interested in adopting Wrigley please apply HERE >>> https://form.jotform.com/cherishedtails/dog-application
