Found in yard beginning of November 2025. Had a harness for a leesh that was overly tight. When a rain storm came through and the cat just stayed under a tree all night, I started to think it was abandoned. A few days later, it was on my deck peering through my windows looking very skinny. I started to feed it, eventually put a small house on my deck it could stay in and I removed the harness. It was free to leave whenever it wanted, but it chose to stay for weeks. It got into a cat fight and hurt its paw and mouth. I made a vet appointment to have it checked out and while I was there make the appt. to check for a chip and spay and vaccinate. Cat is healthy. Approx 9 months old. Very social. I've heard the term "lap cat" thrown around. It has never hissed at me, bit me, or scratched me. Very gentle and docile and playful. There are coyotes, so we've kept it inside, but we are allergic. Looking for someone else to love it. It does not do well outdoors. Other cats pick on it.
