If you would like to adopt, please fill out an application at www.TexasChihuahuaRescue.org. The adoption fee is $400. All dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped current on flea, tick, hw meds and dewormer.
Texas Chihuahua Rescue is based in Pleasanton, Texas. Additional photos and videos will be made available to approved adopters Texas adopters will be required to pick up their adopted dogs in Pleasanton.
Dax is a shy but ultimately friendly boy. Apx 1-2 years young and 6.8 pounds but came to us very thin. He should be closer to 7.5-8 pounds so he needs some good nutrition and extra snacks , and he is not complaining about that. :)
He is great with other animals. He is not overly barky, he has a very gentle demeanor, Dax is very shy at first and may not just run up to a nee human and gove them kisses day one but I promise it only take him a few hours to warm up . He is never ever aggressive , he just runs away and tries to hide from strangers. Within 8 hours Dax was coming to us and climbing in our lap and wanting attention. Just takes him some time. He is such a sweet kid. Even does good on the wee pads. He just needs some socializing and confidence building . We all just love this baby. He just has the sweetest personality.
