My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Karagae, now lovingly Peanut by her foster family, arrived at Soi Dog Foundation’s shelter in September 2022 after being involved in a suspected road traffic accident. Her physical examination revealed she had fractures in her right femur and left tibia. With intensive care and support from the hospital staff, Peanut would recover from her injuries and is completely weight-bearing on all her limbs.

Today Peanut is a sweet and friendly dog, who loves to be outside walking on leash or exploring a fenced in yard. She is non-reactive on leash and loves to sniff and is curious and gentle. Kara will be a loving companion for someone - is that someone you?! With her ridgeback-like coloring, GORGEOUS eyes and affinity for swimming/water play she is going to be a super fun good time girl! She would do great in a somewhat chill home as she is a bit more quiet, with kids over 8 or with a single person or a couple.

Peanut has been in foster for 6 months with a family of four and a cat. The two girls are aged 9 and 11 years old and she adores them. She is crate and house trained and despite being a medium-sized dog, she is very gentle and easy to walk on leash. She is quiet and like having a mouse in your house! We are not sure why she is being overlooked, but we would jump at the chance to have a dog like her in our homes! She has waited a REALLY long time to be someone's main character!

Peanut is available for our Foster to Adopt program to ensure the best match possible.

To apply to adopt, fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adoptPlease note that RnR is a volunteer-based organization. While volunteers review applications as quickly as possible, it is helpful if you review the following information about our adoption process:

LISTED BREED(S) & AGE: We are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the dog's physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents. We rarely know a dog's exact age or full breed mix of dogs, as our information is usually limited.

RnR’s ADOPTION PROCESS: The first step in adopting or meeting one of our adoptable pups is to fill out an application at www.rescueallthedogs.org/adopt. Once we receive your application, one of our volunteers will contact you, review our adoption process, and answer any additional questions you may have. It is important to note that we do not go on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions but on the best fit for a family and, most importantly, the dog.

MEETING ADOPTABLE DOGS: Meet and greets will not be scheduled until your adoption application is submitted and reviewed.

APPLYING ONLINE: When completing an application, please do so from a computer (not a mobile device); make sure you answer ALL the questions in as much detail as possible and that you receive a confirmation email.
