Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Maeve! 🐾
-Tiny tabby, BIG personality! 🔥😺
This cutie is already living life at full volume—purring, playing, chatting, and keeping her people endlessly entertained.
Maeve is the definition of a people kitten. She loves being involved in everything you do—whether that’s supervising your computer work from your desk, “helping” you cook dinner, or providing moral support while you fold laundry. She’s affectionate, social, talkative, and a certified purring machine. When it’s playtime, she’s all in, especially for pipe cleaners, toy mice, and wand toys—and don’t be surprised if she tries to steal your snacks straight out of your hand! 😹
Now, Maeve does have a spicy side 🌶️. She’s full of energy and opinions, and while she adores attention, she prefers it on her terms. She’s made huge progress over the last few months and continues to grow and learn every day. After zooming around and wrestling with her feline friends (she loves other cats!), she’ll happily curl up in your lap once she’s ready to relax. It’s all part of her hilariously dramatic charm—one of our vets even joked she might need an exorcism… but we promise, it’s just extra personality! 😇😂
Found alone at just five weeks old in the middle of a baseball field, Maeve didn’t have littermates to teach her the finer points of kitten manners—but she’s come so far with patience, love, and consistency. Because of this, she’ll thrive in a home that’s kind, patient, and ready to give her plenty of attention, enrichment, and playtime while she continues to blossom.
Maeve is fun, entertaining, and absolutely unforgettable—a little firecracker with a huge heart 💖.
** Maeve MUST go to a home with another active, playful cat. (Or adopt a 2nd kitty with Maeve for ½ the adoption fee!) She needs an indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. She needs a patient and kind family who will give her lots of love, attention, time to adjust and playtime. **
Maeve does great with other cats after proper introductions. She hasn’t been around dogs, but we do believe she could adjust to a calm, cat-friendly dog. She does well with respectful, gentle children, who will respect her boundaries (she is with a 5-year-old in her current foster home, but he knows to not pick her up) and she is litter box trained.
If you’re looking for a kitten who will make you laugh daily, keep you company nonstop, and love you fiercely in her own unique way, Maeve might be your perfect match. Come meet her and see if this spicy sweetheart is meant to steal your heart! 🐾✨

Friends of Community-Cats Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, with an incredible team of volunteers, dedicated to rescuing and saving the lives of cats and kittens in need. We are based out of Davis County, Utah and we help many of our local and surrounding shelters.
We take in the abandoned, abused, unwanted, neglected, geriatric, neonatal, sick, injured and cats who are often overlooked or struggling at shelters. The cats/kittens then go into foster homes, and as needed, we get the cats medical care, rehabilitation and bring them back to health and prepare them for adoption. We have a great adoption/foster program in which we spay/neuter, vaccinate and microchip the cats and kittens before placing them into loving, adoptive homes.
We also care for many special needs cats, hospice cats, special needs/senior feral cats who can’t be released outdoors and other cats with needs that essentially make them “unadoptable”. Those kitties stay in our program as permanent fosters, so they will always get the care that they need.
We participate in Trap-Neuter-Return for community cats. We provide food, shelters and medical care for dozens of community-cats daily. We also assist low-income families with medical care and food for their animals as we are able to.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based and rely on donations from the community to care for the animals in our organization. We mostly focus on cats, however we do help other animals as well when we are able, such as dogs, small animals and livestock.
Our director, Kali Cristaudo, founded this organization in 2012. Since then, we have grown so much, formed an incredible team of volunteers and have saved thousands of lives. We will continue to save more and more lives every year!
