Freya has shown us that she would not do well with a cat or small livestock. Her previous owner says: She is amazing to have. Loves walks. Very crate and potty trained. No accidents in the house. She will let you know when she needs to go outside. Very affectionate and loves to cuddle up. Our children use her as a pillow and she soaks it up. Hopefully she can find a home with no cats.

To reduce the animals' overall stress levels, we have decided to limit animal viewing to those people with appointments for specific animals.
How it works:
1. Check out our available animals online. If you see an animal you’re interested in, fill out that species adoption questionnaire at https://www.everettwa.gov/161/Adopt-a-Pet to start the adoption process. Please be sure to include the name of the animal that you are interested in adopting. Questionnaires will only be reviewed if a specific animal is identified. You aren't obligated to adopt that pet, but it's a place to start.
2. Our staff will review your questionnaire and contact you to discuss the adoption. Please note that it often takes several days before you are contacted. We appreciate your patience! (If it has been longer than one week and you haven’t heard from us, please email us.)
3. Most animals will be available to go home the same day as the adoption meeting.
ADOPTION FEES - CATS
- Cats (over 6 months): $50 - $100
- Kittens (6 months and under): $150 - $300
- Two kittens adopted at the same time: $250 - $300
