My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bruce 💙

Bruce is a young adult Doberman who has definitely seen better days—but the good news is, his story is turning around. When Bruce first arrived, he was pretty down and out and dealing with some skin issues that showed just how rough life had been for him. Thanks to care, comfort, and a little TLC, Bruce is now on the mend and feeling so much happier.

Despite everything he’s been through, Bruce’s heart is pure gold. He absolutely loves everyone he meets and greets the world with kindness and trust. It’s clear that once he’s fully healed, Bruce is going to be the stunning, confident boy he was always meant to be—inside and out.

Bruce is looking for a home that will continue his journey of healing, offer patience, and remind him every day that the hard times are behind him. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a resilient spirit and a whole lot of love to give, Bruce may just be your perfect match. 🐾💙Adoption Hours are Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5pm. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is based on making the right match. Though people can apply for a specific animal, we would like to know more about lifestyle and match a pet with that lifestyle. For example, we would not want to match an active dog with an inactive one. Therefore, our primary concern is the interview process and getting to know the potential adopter.
