Johnny is the friendliest boy. He was rescued with his siblings from under a deck on a freezing Winter night right before a storm. He spent weeks learning that humans could be trusted. His progress has been incredible. Johnny now seeks attention, plays eagerly, and shows off a brave side that often helps his shyer siblings feel more confident. He enjoys toys, treats, and anyone willing to spend time interacting with him.
An adult only home with cat experience will suit him best while he finishes building his confidence. A small acclimation space in the beginning will help him transition smoothly. Johnny is already well on his way to becoming a wonderfully social, affectionate companion.

HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING:
1. Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.
2. We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord.
3. We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets.

*We do not do same day adoptions.
*Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in.
*We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.

Unfortunately, due to past issues with landlords/housing/insurance, a restricted breed policy is in place for Bully breed/Pit Bull type dogs. This means that you must own your home and provide proof of homeownership to adopt a Bully breed/Pit Bull dog or puppy. While we understand that this may be an inconvenience, it is necessary to help reduce the number of devastated dogs being returned. We apologize for the inconvenience.
