On my drive home around 10pm, I found these three puppies (two males and one female) on the highway and something heartbreakingly common in the south. They were terrified, freezing cold, starving, covered in fleas, filthy, and already carrying worms in their little bellies.
I brought them home, gave them warmth, food, and love, and treated them for parasites and fleas. They are safe now and finally getting a chance at the life they deserve. All Caramelo needs next is his first vet visit to start vaccines and preventatives.
They have already been through so much and fortunately the other two have found their forever homes. Now Caramelo just needs a loving home too, to show him that people can be kind. 🐾
