Meet Maryland, a one‑year‑old black cat whose life changed the moment she dragged herself onto Anna and Rob’s back patio—injured, exhausted, and desperately hoping someone would notice her. Despite the pain of her broken limb, she still mustered the courage to ask for help. And now she needs all of us.
Maryland’s leg is too damaged to save. The only way she can live a pain‑free, adoptable life is through an amputation surgery that costs $3,000. Anna and Rob have stepped up to give her safety, warmth, and love—but they can’t do this alone. Maryland is young, gentle, and full of potential. With this surgery, she can heal, thrive, and find the forever home she deserves. She is very friendly upon warming up and will not scratch or bite. Normally she would be welcome in their home, but they currently don't have the resources to sustain her along with their other two cats, and she would be a great addition to a loving home.
