My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet A-Milking (Millie) 🥛💖

A-Milking—affectionately known as Millie—is an incredibly friendly and loving bunny who absolutely adores human attention. She loves being held and has quickly learned that her favorite (and safest!) place is snuggled up on your chest. Whether it’s her foster or a new friend, Millie is happiest when she’s close to her people.

She’s been very sweet with children and enjoys being part of the household, often hanging out with her foster family and exploring the dogs’ room when it’s empty. One of her favorite pastimes is watching the world go by—especially gazing out at the snowy backyard.

Millie is still working on her litter box skills and will need a patient adopter to help her continue learning. She’s very food-motivated (especially when it comes to hay—she comes running the moment she spots the bag!) and has been making progress with positive reinforcement and gentle guidance.

Curious, affectionate, and full of personality, Millie would thrive in a home that enjoys an interactive bunny who wants to be involved in daily life. With her sweet nature and love of cuddles, she’s sure to steal your heart in no time. 💕🐰

Additional adoption info

Matchmaking is what we love to do. We do our very best to find the best fit for the pets awaiting adoption at the Rhode Island SPCA. The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at adoption@rispca.com.
