Allow us to present Mr. Taylor, a substantial blue cat who gets along with other cats. Taylor needs companions who are confident and can stand up for themselves. He currently resides with Turbo, an orange kitten, and they do wonderfully together. Taylor may be a bit shy at first, but he warms up quickly and loves being held and treated like a baby. He is looking for a forever home where he will be cherished.

Stray Animal Midway Shelter (SAMS) was incorporated in 2010 with our focus being spay neuter assistance. In Noovember of 2013 SAMS purchased property and now operates as a no-kill shelter in Peoria County. We work closely with local and surrounding county shelters and obtain healthy and adoptable pets that would otherwise be euthanized for lack of space. SAMS receives no funding from government, state, county or municiple entities and are funded solelyby fundraising and donations. You can help by volunteering, adopting and donating to our cause.
