My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Brigit! I’m a sweet girl with a nice balance of playful energy and calm moments, and I’m still learning to feel fully comfortable in my surroundings. I can be a bit shy at first and take time to warm up, but I’m very curious and interested in new people, dogs, and experiences. Once I feel safe, I love following my people around the house and staying close by.

I enjoy being outside, going for walks, and meeting other dogs, especially those who don’t mind a little personal space invasion. I’d do great in a home with another dog, since I love having a companion to shadow. I’m still figuring out toys, but cardboard and treats are big favorites. I’m okay with affection on my terms for now, and I’m continuing to gain confidence with gentle human interaction.

I do have some separation anxiety and can be vocal when left alone, though I haven’t been destructive, so a home that isn’t an apartment may be best for me. My short legs make stairs a slow but adorable challenge, and with patience and love, I know I’ll grow into a loyal and loving companion.

XOXO,
Brigit
