My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bailey is an absolute sweetheart! She was found as a stray out in the country which means somebody probably left her on the side of the road. She was positive for heartworm but has finished her treatment!!
She loves being around people and she loves to play especially tug of rope. She is a talker and very treat motivated. She knows sit and working with her on paw and lay down. Now because of her age she still has the puppy tendencies but she loves going on walks but someone who is patient with her will be able to teach her that chasing cars is not okay. She follows my kids around the yard and plays with them and she loves the snuggles. She is incredibly smart and would make a great family dog. She is an all-around good girl who is just looking for a family to love me. If you think you could be that family,

Additional adoption info

We try to find homes that are out of state due to the over population of unwanted and abandoned animals in Texas. We check at least 2 references, vet references, and do social media searches on adopters. We do not adopt a pet out unless cleared by our rescue.

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)3 rescue dedicated to addressing the pressing issues of stray cats and dogs in Ladonia and surrounding areas. We embark on a mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. We are a foster based rescue only and are located in the country with a never ending problem with animals being dumped in our county. We also assist the community with getting their pets spayed and neutered to help with the over population of unwanted animals. We operate strictly on donations and fundraising.
