What we know: Transferred from Furever Friends, Grant County KS while mom was pregnant. Born in care to Mama Miso, litter of 10 but one stillborn; 5 boys, 4 girls surviving.
From the foster: Miso is a special girl. She is incredibly trusting of humans and is the happiest when she is with you. She loves to snuggle and play with bears or chew on bones. She has never met a treat or meal she didn’t like.
However, Miso should be an only dog and shouldn’t have cats or small livestock in her home. She is working on her socialization with other pets but today she is a bit too interested in others to calm herself. She has shown progress with her foster’s dog though.
Miso is a great walker on a leash, loves to spend time outside as a sun bear or seeing the sights with you. She is working on commands like ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘leave it’ and is doing well. She is also fully house trained.
She will make a wonderful addition to someone’s family. If you're ready for a loving, smart and snuggly pup then Miso may be for you!

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
