Bubbles arrived with his sibling, Bambi, and while they’d be happy to be adopted together, they aren’t bonded, just two kittens who enjoy the occasional cozy cuddle. Bubbles is a stunning medium-to-long-haired black kitty with gorgeous streaks of white and silver, known as a fever coat. While these markings often fade, some have stuck around, making him extra eye-catching and truly one of a kind.
True to his name, Bubbles is full of life. He’s sweet and affectionate, enjoying cuddle time in short, loving bursts, but his heart really belongs to playtime. He loves zooming from one end of the house to the other, chasing toys, and keeping everyone entertained with his spirited, spunky energy.

The shelter is located at 589 Coolwater Drive in Bastrop Texas. Please come meet our pets Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm

The Bastrop Animal Control organization became a reality in 1998. We've grown since then and continue to do so as Bastrop County grows. Currently, we have 3 separate buildings containing a total of 90 large indoor/outdoor kennels and 8 play yards. We have 30 indoor cat kennels. We also have a 3 room cattery, that enables cats to live together in colony type environments until they find their forever home. If you have ever worked with or adopted a shelter pet, you know just how much they crave the attention and love we and our volunteers can provide and their eternal gratitude when they find their forever home at last.
