If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Charlie is about 2 years old and loves being near people! Charlie is housebroken, mostly leash trained, fence trained, muzzle trained, enjoys being combed, does well with baths & grooming, does well with vet exams, enjoys cars rides and enjoys dog parks.
Charlie loves to play! He enjoys playing fetch. He plays with his toys by tossing them up in the air and catching them repeatedly. He loves rope toys and toys that squeak! He loves playing in the snow. After playing he loves to curl up with you on the couch or stretch out on the the floor by your feet while you read or watch TV.
He will sit on command for 2 seconds. He typically will jump up next to a person not on them. He does well with our 16lb female Yorkie mix. His biggest flaw is that he is a counter surfer. We haven't been able to train him out of that yet.
We have had Charlie for 2 months. The primary reason that we must rehome him is he does not get along well with a male 9yr old grumpy dog in our home.
