I am Chai, and I am looking for the favorite family waiting for me!!
I was found wandering in a neighborhood, with a bad eye :( And that was my lucky day!! I was saved by a nice lady and her family and they are fostering me!
So you may notice that I had surgery and my bad eye was removed.... i will make an EXCELLENT PIrAte for Halloween!!
My foster family loves me, I am great with their children, cats and other dogs... I am almost completely potty trained and I am kind of a silly girl.
I am about 13# full grown and cute as a button! I love to beg, stand on my back legs and my feet begging for you to ...1) pick me up or 2) feed me, or 3) cuddle with me!

Adoption counselor will email you to discuss the inquiry/application,and give more info about the pet, the foster and adoption process..

If you are approved to adopt, payments can be made on our website through PayPal, Debit Card or any major credit card.

Adoption application required for dogs. However, because it stresses cats to be confined and transported with dogs long distances, we do not transport our cats. They are local to Texas only. Thank you.
Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted.
So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.
