When no owner came forward, Blitzen followed his journey straight to our shelter, hopeful that his real home is still ahead.
Blitzen is a very sweet, gentle boy with a classic Beagle charm. He enjoys attention, has an affectionate nature, and his previous shelter noted that he appears to do well with other dogs. With his curious nose and friendly personality, he’s ready to explore the world with a family by his side.

Meet the pets that would be a good fit for your household based on your application. If you meet a pet you love, you can place a hold.

Sign Adoption Contract
After 24-48 hours, you can sign the contract, pay the fee and take your new friend home!

All family members are required to be present in order to adopt an animal. You must be 21 years old or older to adopt. Applications must be completed and approved prior to adopting an animal. If approved, an applicant must sign a contract to adopt an animal which outlines the responsibilities of the shelter and the adopter.
