Meet Farrah!
This gorgeous red-haired 5-8 year old German Shepherd is the total package: sweet, spunky, and just a little stubborn (in the best way). She knows basic commands like sit, down, stop, and potty—but she’ll only show off her skills if you ask with confidence (and maybe a snack).
Farrah — she’s a senior German Shepherd whose hips are starting to show her years. What she really needs now is a quiet home with a fenced yard for gentle strolls and a cozy couch to call her own. Farrah is ready to spend her golden years surrounded by comfort, love, and the simple joys of just being home.
Farrah is house and crate trained, responds to “crate” and “leave it,” and is super friendly with people—especially men. She wagged her tail happily at kids from a distance but hasn’t had close interactions yet. Her dog-friendliness is still a mystery.
Looking for a loyal, red-haired beauty with a heart of gold and a bit of sass? Farrah is ready to be your best friend.
As an adoption fee-based rescue, we do not operate on monthly support. Our adoption fee of $250 covers transport, which is arranged post-adoption, and is tax-deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Should you wish to arrange your own transport, the adoption fee remains the same. Thank you for your valuable support.
What doe Low Heart worm Positive mean:
This means the level of heartworms in the system is very low, and will not have any long-term effects. Heartworm is highly treatable, but it’s important that the sidekick stays on regular heartworm prevention to ensure they don’t return.

We are a foster-based rescue, with fosters located throughout the area. Adopters can schedule an appointment to meet a pet in person or request a video meet-and-greet. We do have plans for adoption events but haven't planed it yet.
