Happy Pappy is definitely a happy fella most of the time. We think he may do best as an only dog, but we can't be sure that he wouldn't still have moments where he is not so happy. Happy does not like for you to take his food once he has it, nor does he like to share his bed. He loves to be up under foot 24/7 and will often ask for pets and attention. If fed in a specific room, he will love that space and often choose to stay in the space in hopes for more food. We recommend giving him a designated decompress space so that if he gets upset or overwhelmed, you can open the door and he will immediately reset and move to his safe space. He is an old fella so he is set in his ways. He's just looking for someone willing to give him several good years of life and love even if he sometimes can be a very grumpy fella.
He is housetrained if you take him out and stay with him. He is very much a Class 5 clinger.
