Gus is a little over 4 years old, his birthday is 9-2-21 and we’ve had him since November 21. He did not get the proper training as a puppy but was fine with his older “brother”. Unfortunately he has behavioral issues and we have tried to work on them the last couple years but my kids need to have a normal life too.
Gus does not like other kids (besides his family), he only likes 2 dogs that he’s familiar with, no experience with cats so not sure. He’s questionable with new to him adults. However, he’s fine with chickens and is kind of scared of them. He’s also fine with rats and rabbits.
He’s very loyal to his people, loves to sleep and snores a lot. He has no food or toy aggression. He knows basic dog commands and doesn’t have potty issues. He’s not a barker unless someone knocks on the dog. He does not like the vacuum and will destroy it if you are not careful.
He has nipped in the past but you can somewhat tell when he is hyper focused and we have tried to redirect him.
