My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Kodiak… so handsome, so happy…

He absolutely adores people and has been loving all the human attention — smiles included.

That said, Kodiak is a lot of dog and brings big enthusiasm when it comes to other dogs. While he’s been fine with supervised, minimal interactions, his energy level may be more than many dogs prefer, so he’d probably enjoy a home without other dogs where he can truly shine.

Kodiak is getting neutered next week, and once that’s done, he’ll officially be looking for his forever home. We’re excited to keep learning about him and matching him with the right family who appreciates a happy, strong, goofy boy.

More to come on this handsome guy very soon.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an adoption application and submit to a home check. We require a two week trial adoption prior to finalizing the adoption when the adoption contract is signed and adoption fees collected. Our adoption fees are typically $100 for dogs and $50 for cats.

Go meet their pets

Our adoptable dogs and cats are all in foster homes and an adoption application must be submitted first in order for a meet to be arranged.

More about this rescue

Animal Help Alliance rescues animals from our local shelters as well as community animals in danger of going to the shelter. We then provide them with any medical treatment or behavior training they need in order to be successfully adopted. We mainly focus on pit bull type dogs and Chihuahuas as those are the ones most in danger of euthanasia at the shelters. We support our local shelters in their efforts to go "no kill" and our ultimate goal is a No Kill Las Vegas.
