She is shy with a mellow temperament and gets along wonderfully with other cats, often looking to them for social cues.
Gordie is currently in the brave beginning stage of her socialization. She has recently begun allowing our volunteers to pet her and is showing more curiosity every day.
She loves treats and playtime, which are the secrets to gaining her trust. Because Gordie is still building her confidence, we are seeking an adopter with experience handling shy cats. ❤️
The ideal home will be quiet and prepared to give her the space she needs to settle in at her own speed. Seeing a shy cat purr, relax and grow in confidence is a magical experience, and Gordie is looking for the right person to share those milestones with her!
Gordie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and her brother tested negative for FIV and leukemia.
