My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sparky is a 5 year old male chihuahua that recently came to us. While we are still learning Sparky, we can see that he is a sweet boy, with maybe a small touch of little man syndrome (what chihuahua doesn't have a little??). Sparky is ready for someone to go slow with him and give him a loving home.

All of our dogs, cats, rabbits & ferrets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Small animals are usually not altered. We have adoption applications, a short interview process, and an adoption fee for each animal. All animals (except rabbits & small animals) are up to date on all shots.

We hold adoption events on Saturdays at Petsmart in Mishawaka from 11-3. We also hold other events throughout the year. Company Overview
Heartland Small Animal Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving South Bend, IN and surrounding towns by taking in homeless pets and adopting them out into loving homes. We also work closely with local shelters to reduce euthanasia rates by pulling animals and putting them in our program.
