Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Headline: A Second Chance at Love: The Transformation of Doodles
When Doodles first arrived at Pawsitive Difference Pet Rescue, his spirit was as tangled and heavy as his matted coat. An owner surrender at eight years old, he was dirty, confused, and deeply heartbroken, wondering why the only life he knew had suddenly changed. It took a long time for his tail to wag again, but we promised him that his best days were still ahead. Today, after a lot of patience, a warm bath, and the comfort of a soft bed, that heartbroken dog is gone—replaced by a handsome, resilient boy who has so much love bursting from his heart.
Doodles has spent his time in foster care making up for lost time. He has become the ultimate "shadow," following his foster parent from room to room because he never wants to be left behind again. He doesn’t ask for much—just the chance to be near you. If you’re in the kitchen, he’s curled up nearby just to keep an eye on you. If you move to the next room, he’s right at your heels, making sure his person is safe. He lives for the comfort of human connection and the quiet reassurance of a gentle hand on his head.
This sweet, low-shedding terrier mix is a dream in the home. He sleeps peacefully in his crate, uses the doggy door like a pro, and waits with perfect manners and a hopeful heart for his meals. After everything he has been through, Doodles isn't looking for anything fancy; he is simply searching for the one thing he deserves most: the security of a forever home. He wants a family who will cherish his loyalty and give him the permanent place in their hearts that he has been dreaming of. If you have room for a devoted shadow who will love you unconditionally for the rest of his life, Doodles is waiting for you.
