Missy has completed a 3-month professional board and train program with Master certified dog trainers for fear aggression. She was an abused dog and came into the shelter afraid of everything. She is now loving and thriving !

She will need an experienced adopter with a fenced-in yard that will be dedicated to continuing her training so she continues to feel safe

We interview and do our home check through a virtual visit. We will also do a vet check and landlord check if needed

Approve Application

If they are adopting without having other pets we would then sign the contract and collect the adoption fee

Meet the Pet

This step is required if there are existing pets in the home.

Rusty’s Rescue Ranch is an animal shelter and rehabilitation facility. Our mission is to serve the community by accepting unadoptable and special needs animals and hiring ex-convicts and felons to build promising and prosperous futures. We are the ranch of second chances.

As those in the community help us to build this non-profit we hope to keep in mind three simple values in which our staff will work and live by. These three values are Honesty, Community, and Compassion.
