Deacon ("Deeks" if you watch NCIS) has never met a stranger when it comes to people and cats. He breezes through introductions, completely disregarding any initial hisses or growls from other cats and in short order wins them over with his confidence. His priority is play and exploration.
Deacon needs to have an energetic young cat to play with (and would no doubt annoy the heck out of an older kitty). With proper introduction, he will get along with your calm and respectful dog and may even become friends. His beautiful marbled coat is luxuriantly soft and plush. His ear was tipped when he was picked up from a managed colony in Baltimore county as a kitten, neutered and re-released. His loving colony caretaker socialized him and eventually requested that he be placed for adoption. Deacon loves petting and attention from people, and jealously regards phones as competition for his attention. He enjoys being picked up, held and snuggled. He should do well in any family!
