My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bungo 🧡

Bungo is a sweet, shy 5 year-old male cat with a gentle soul and a big heart waiting for the right person. He was born in Lubbock, Texas, where he was adopted and saved from euthanasia—an early reminder that Bungo’s life has always mattered.

Like many sensitive cats, Bungo takes time to warm up. He may be reserved at first, but once he feels safe and secure, he blossoms into an incredibly affectionate and cuddly companion. His love is quiet, sincere, and deeply rewarding.

Bungo was surrendered to San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition when his previous family was no longer able to provide the care he needed. This is his second time finding himself back in a rescue environment, which makes his next home especially important.

Bungo is looking for a patient, experienced adopter who understands shy cats and is willing to give him the time, consistency, and reassurance he deserves. With the right person, Bungo will thrive—and offer a truly special bond in return.

If you’re someone who believes in second chances and understands that the most meaningful relationships take time, Bungo may be your perfect match. To inquire about adopting this cat please complete an adoption application at tinyurl.com/ccapadoptions
