Share Bear may be a little shaky, but he never lets that slow him down. His cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) is mild, and he runs, plays, chases balls, and even climbs stairs with enthusiasm. He has no trouble using the litter box or eating, and his special needs only make him sweeter and more endearing in person. Share Bear loves affection. He enjoys being carried like a baby and will wrap his paws around your neck for a hug. When you nuzzle his nose, he happily gives kisses in return. To help him get comfy, he’ll need stairs or a ramp to access the bed or sofa. In his foster home, Share Bear loves playing with the puppy - especially chasing her tail and leash! Being special needs makes Share Bear that much more special! Share Bear does great with kids, other cats, and dogs, but he is bonded with his brother, Funshine Bear and they MUST be adopted together.
Kittens under the age of nine months MUST have another age-appropriate cat or dog in their home, or as otherwise noted. PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO SUITABLE APPLICATIONS FOR SIBLINGS.

Home at Last Rescue (HALR) is a Registered Canadian Charity, that is 100% volunteer driven. Our goal is to rescue cats from substandard living conditions and give them the loving homes they deserve.
We provide medical care, emotional support and a loving environment while preparing them to find their forever homes. With no physical location, all of our cats and kittens reside in loving foster homes across the Greater Toronto Area until they are ready for adoption.
We receive no government funding and rely solely on adoption fees, donations and our fundraising efforts to support our initiatives. We believe there is a home for every cat and a cat for every home.
