My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Patches is an adult male cat who came to us after his owner passed away. He’s a quiet, gentle soul who doesn’t mind attention but is also content doing his own thing. Patches enjoys observing the world from a cozy hiding spot, keeping an eye on everything around him. He would do best in a calm home where he can settle in at his own pace and feel safe again.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
