Toovy is a 9-month-old, 57-pound German Shepherd who’s ready to leave his past behind and start fresh with a family who understands what shepherds need. Purchased from a breeder by an inexperienced owner, Toovy spent most of his young life home alone with no exercise or stimulation. No surprise he broke things - he was bored out of his mind!
Despite that less than ideal start, Toovy is a sweet, sensitive boy who’s already showing us what a great dog he can be. His previous owner reports he lived with and did well with cats, kids, and other dogs, and with us, he’s been wonderful, just a little shy at first. Share a few treats and you’ll feel like the Pied Piper (beef liver works like magic!).
Like any German Shepherd, Toovy will thrive with regular exercise, structure, and mental stimulation. He’s smart, loyal, and eager to bond with someone who will give him the time and guidance he deserves.
