Tate is a 2-year-old scruffy terrier mix boy who weighs about 30 lbs and has the sweetest, gentlest soul. This quiet companion loves being close to his people and is happiest when he’s right by your side. One of Tate’s best qualities? He is not a big barker—he may let out a small whine now and then, but he’s otherwise a wonderfully calm presence in the home.
While Tate does enjoy the company of other dogs and will happily join in some light play, he’s truly more of a couch connoisseur than a high-energy pup. He isn’t very interested in toys and doesn’t require much activity, making him a great match for a relaxed household.
If you’re looking for a low-key, affectionate dog who just wants to sit next to his humans and share quiet moments, Tate may be the perfect fit for you.

Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet!
The adoption fee of $400 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
*please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.
