Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I'm Regina, a 2-month-old tabico cutie! I was born to a nice stray mama who was taken in by a kind person. Our mama raised 5 kittens, and now my siblings and I are ready to find our forever homes through TAPS (our mama gets to stay safely with her finder!). We are playful, friendly, and lovable kittens who are discovering the world one pounce at a time. Toys are fascinating, toes are suspicious, and laps are absolutely wonderful! We love to play hard and then snuggle even harder once we're all tuckered out. We enjoy people, attention, and being part of whatever our human friends are doing. We're still babies, so we'll need families ready to help us learn and grow, but in return we promise to bring lots of fun and sweetness into your life! If I (or maybe myself and a sibling) sound like we could be a good fit for your forever family, please fill out an online application today to get the process started!

TAPS-Tazewell Animal Protective Society was founded in 1958 in Pekin Illinois in a building donated by the City of Pekin on River Road. In 1979, rapidly rising river water forced the evacuation of the animals. Once again, the City of Pekin stepped in and donated a building for the animals. Several moves later, and with the help and generosity of many volunteers and community members, TAPS now has a new home at 100 TAPS Lane. Last year we celebrated 50 year of caring for the homeless animals of Central Illinois.
