Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hazel was turned outside by her former owner with her four young kittens. Fortunately, a compassionate bystander found her and brought her to Cameron Animal Rescue. Hazel and her little family are now ready to find their forever homes.
Hazel is a sweet, smart cat. She is gentle and affectionate with people, and enjoys attention and petting. When she is in the mood, she even enjoys belly rubs. She is also a smart, curious, active cat. She enjoys exploring new places, checking out new things, and playing with toys. She will love looking out the window in her new home and watching everything going on. Although she is not as active as a kitten, she still enjoys running, playing, and acting silly. Hazel likes other cats, but does not like wrestling and hard play, and can sometimes be picky. She has not been dog tested, but can be upon request.
Hazel is a healthy girl. She is FeLV/FIV negative. Her adoption includes her full series of FVRCP (distemper) and Rabies vaccines; Feline Bartonella testing and treatment as appropriate; fecal testing and deworming; flea/tick prevention; spay; microchip; 30 days of free pet insurance. Hazel is a British Shorthair, and although she does not have any health issues at this time, British Shorthairs are predisposed to various medical conditions. Therefore we are seeking an adopter with an extensive prior veterinary reference. Please provide that information in your application.
Hazel will do best in a home where she gets both the affection and attention, and mental stimulation and engagement, that she needs.
