My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tiny Tim - The Heart of the Little
Tiny Tim isn't named for his size, but for his sweet looks and gentle, lovable personality. Though he may be overlooked at first because of his subtle coloring and slightly gimpy appearance, to the right person he will be a constant reminder of hope, resilience, and love.
Tim may start out shy, but once he feels comfortable, he blossoms into an affectionate, kind, and gentle little companion, spreading joy and warmth wherever he goes. He loves playtime, enjoys company, and thrives in a home where he feels appreciated, safe, and supported.
Tiny Tim would do best in a low-to-mid energy household with people who value patience, quiet companionship, and lots of affection. He also enjoys the company of friendly pets, making him happiest in a home where he can share love and play with gentle animal friends. Tim is the perfect little heart-stealer for someone ready to appreciate his unique charm and shower him with love.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
