Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hugh, and his littermates Doyle, Astrid, and May were turned outside with their mother, Hazel, by their former owner. Fortunately, a compassionate bystander found the little family and brought them to Cameron Animal Rescue. Now, Hazel, Doyle, and the rest of their little family are ready to find their forever homes.
Hugh and his littermates Doyle, Astrid, and May all resember their mother, with their round faces, big eyes, and thick, velvet soft coats. Wonderfully, they also resemble Hazel in their temperment - calm, sweet, gentle, and smart. They are active, playful kittens, who love to chase and wrestle with one another. They love playing with different types of toys, and enjoy playing with people. They are also very cuddly, and love being held and pet. They purr up a storm, and they have a signature move in which they suddenly flop down for belly rubs. While staying still for long periods is difficult for active kittens, they do enjoy being held, especially after they've gotten their energy out. Hugh is the adventurer of the group - always eager to meet new people and explore new places. He sometimes leaps without looking with hilarious results, but he's always good natured about the results and keeps playing without hesitation.
Hugh and his littermates are good with people, although they haven't been tested with young children. They are also good with other cats. However, they are very bonded with one another and must be adopted in pairs. They have not been tested with dogs, but can be tested upon request.
Hugh, Doyle, Astrid, and May are healthy kittens. They are FeLV/FIV negative. Their adoption includes their full series of FVRCP (distemper) and Rabies vaccines; fecal testing and deworming; flea/tick prevention; spay; microchip; 30 days of free pet insurance. Because they are half British Shorthair, they may be predisposed to various breed associated medical conditions. Therefore we are seeking an adopter with an extensive prior veterinary reference. Please provide that information in your application.
Hugh, Doyle, Astrid, and May can't wait to find their forever homes. Could that be you?
