My name is Sadie!

Sadie is a great dog, who we recued from the Franklin County shelter in 2018. She is 8.5 years old, never had any medical issues, up to date on shots, spayed, and an all around great dog. She lives with another lab and 2 small children, who she gets along with great. Sadie has no special needs and is potty trained very well. She hasn't had an accident in the house in years. Sadie loves to be outside and run more than anything. She will run at the dog park for over an hour- even at 8 years old! We moved to a house without a fence and have been very busy (too busy to take her on regular walks) which has been hard on her. Since she hasn't been able to run much, she has slipped past us a few times out the door and ran away- usually chasing a rabbit or bird. As hard as it is, we think Sadie would benefit if we found a home for her with a fence and an active family who has time to walk her more. We aren't looking to get rid of her, just opening up an opportunity for a better life.
