Samantha has opinions and she is not reluctant to voice them. She is independent and free spirited, excellent at minding her own business, and wants to scout out her territories on her terms. She is a gentle soul who is still relearning to trust and readjusting to human socialization, so time and patience are keys to her heart. She appreciates companions of her own species, loves her foster siblings, and is very low maintenance, as long as she is given space and Churu kitty yogurt when she asks, and is left alone when she wants to be.
Samantha has been through so much in her two years of life, and she deserves to leave all of that behind her now. She just needs a family to love her, cat friends to play with her, and to never know abandonment and insecurity again. She can be nervous and reluctant when meeting new cats and new people, but as long as everyone is nice to her, she is happy to be buddies once she gets to know them. Let her come to you in her own time and you will find out what a sweetheart she can be.
Adoption fee of $100 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip.

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.
We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
