MEET BLANCHE!!
Blanche is a fast, spunky, and affectionate dog with a big personality who loves being close to her people, whether that means following you around the house, playing fetch, or curling up for a long nap. She is leash trained, crate trained, potty trained, and completed a four-week board-and-train program focused on basic obedience. Blanche is playful and goofy, enjoying running, zoomies, neighborhood walks, and stuffed toys, but she can also be skittish and sensitive to loud noises and having her personal space invaded. She wants to please and often shows this by keeping her eyes on her person at all times. Blanche must be fed separately due to a long-standing history of food aggression, does not get along with cats, and is unsure with other dogs, though she previously lived well with a large dog and may acclimate with proper introductions. She does not do well with young children and has shown reactive behaviors when overwhelmed, so she requires a child-free, adult-only home with someone experienced in training and managing dogs who need clear boundaries. In the right environment, Blanche is a loyal, loving companion who will thrive with structure, understanding, and continued positive guidance.
