Meet Raisin, a sweet 4-year-old, 17lb Schipperke mix, ready to find her perfect forever home. She’s a loyal and obedient companion who knows commands like sit, stay, and come.
She’s a sensitive soul who thrives in a calm, structured environment with a consistent routine. She’s very friendly with new people but can be overwhelmed by children and large dogs. However, she loves small dog playmates! As a Schipperke mix, she’s alert and barks at stimuli, making her a great watchdog. She thrives on daily walks and games of fetch (and loves playing with other small dogs, too!). She can’t hold it all day, so an active retiree or work-from-home owner would be perfect. She is not crated during the day and likes her freedom. She does have a plush “house” she loves to lay in. She prefers to sleep in the bed with her people.
We have an infant, & she has become very anxious living with us. We want to ensure she goes to a home where she’ll be cherished and understood. She is SUCH a wonderful dog!
