Meet Zephyr! This 4.5 month-old youngster is all legs, wiggles, and joyful chaos—and he is very much still figuring out how to operate the long limbs he was blessed with. Likely to grow into a big boy, Zephyr is currently in that classic awkward-puppy phase where every step is a little too enthusiastic and every turn comes with a side of flailing feet.
Zephyr loves to romp, wrestle, and zoom around with other dogs, and would be thrilled to have a canine buddy—or at least plenty of playtime—to help burn off his puppy energy. Equal parts goofy and sweet, he’s the kind of pup who trips over himself and then looks at you like “Did you see that?”
If you’re ready for a growing puppy with a big future, a bigger heart, and endless laughs along the way, Zephyr is ready to breeze right into your life.

More about this shelter
CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.
CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
