My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please read Marshmallow’s full bio before inquiring about gorgeous Marshmallow.
Marshmallow is a lovely and affectionate girl who enjoys companionship on her own terms. She needs a home with older children (10+) who can respect her boundaries and understand cat body language.
Because Marshmallow came to us with painful matting around her neck and stomach, those areas can still be sensitive. When she becomes overstimulated or touched in those spots, she will give a warning love bite. For this reason, we feel she will thrive best in a calmer home where her cues are respected.
Marshmallow gets along well with other cats and (most) dogs and has a lot of love to give to the right family. With patience, gentle handling, and understanding, she will be an excellent companion.
We know she is beautiful, but please ensure that if you are interested, your home meets her needs. We will approve or deny based on what our cats need in terms of safety.

More about this rescue

Carbon Cat Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Carbon County, Utah. We rely heavily on donations and our community to care for the cats.

All of our cats live in foster homes until they have been fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. Once they are ready, we put them up for adoption to find their fur-ever homes!
