My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lil Bear at PetCo Santa Maria — ready for a new life!
6-year-old female | DLH black with warm brown undertones

Lil Bear is a quiet, undemanding sweetheart with the softest presence. She’s gentle, friendly, and truly enjoys being held and petted—and she’ll start purring almost immediately. If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion, Lil Bear may be your perfect match.

She was rescued from the streets of San Bernardino after being found pregnant. Thankfully, she was taken in to be spayed after what was likely far too many litters. Although she was originally returned outdoors, it quickly became clear that Lil Bear is a people-loving girl who belongs in a home. Her friendly nature and easygoing personality made her an ideal candidate for adoption.

Now, Lil Bear is ready to leave her hard past behind and become a cherished member of a loving family. She’s prepared for the cozy, safe life she’s always deserved.
