My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oscar started out life with a family who didn’t know how to care for an energetic dog but now loves his foster home. He has a big back yard to run around in, and other dogs to run and play with. He has lots of energy and needs a family who will play with him, take him for long walks, hikes or even on a run. He loves to snuggle and his foster family is working on his manners. He is very smart and has learned sit “down” to get more attention. He is curious about cats, but learns quickly that some cats don’t want to be chased. He will soon come inside to learn more about house training. If you are looking for a companion who will love you furever, Oscar is the pup for you.

More about this rescue

The Marion Animal Resource Connection (MARC), found at marc4change.org, is a vital non-profit organization serving multiple counties in Tennessee, dedicated to improving the well-being of pets and people.

MARC acts as a lifeline for vulnerable animals through its core mission:

Spay/Neuter Services: Providing affordable, low-cost services to end pet overpopulation in the community.

Rescue and Fostering: Offering healing, critical care, and temporary homes for strays and animals in need.

Adoption: Facilitating the process of finding loving, forever homes for rescued pets.

Advocacy: Promoting responsible pet ownership, humane treatment, and community education.

By supporting MARC, donations directly fund the life-saving mission, covering everything from vaccinations to specialized surgeries.
